We are so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. Ron and I have been friends since grade school. We ran together in high school. Even though we had grown apart the last couple of years, he was still a dear friend and our Shortridge gang will miss him dearly.

To the family or Ron, as Loretta Rose’s daughter, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to you. Ron and my mother were best friends since their grade school days. He reached out to me many times over the past few years. I had no idea that he was near the end. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends. I even have pictures in my photo album going back to when I was a very young girl and he was there with our family. May you find comfort in the many words of wisdom that he shared with you, and his joyous belly laugh.

I had been a friend of Ron’s for about 30 years and was sorry to hear about his passing. I just noticed this page to leave a condolence for him. We used to go to sporting events together and go to lunch or dinner. I met him through Bob Bernath. I am sorry to never have been told he was ill, I would have liked to see him then before this happened.
